Honda Fit or Scion Xd? Honestly?

My boyfriend is currently leasing a Chevy Cobalt which he really hates. His lease is up in August, so we figured now is the time to start searching for possible vehicles. We really like both the 2009 Honda Fit and the Scion Xd. Yes, they're both a little silly looking, but we actually like it. So please don't tell me they're ugly or whatnot. What I would like to know is what you guys think about their overall performance, safety, price, and all that good stuff. We test drove a Scion Xd two days ago and we're going to test drive a Fit tonight. My boyfriend wants a manual, if that makes any difference.

I would go for the Honda Fit Sport. Very reliable and better gas mileage than the Scion. Also, I think Honda gives you a lot more car for your money than Toyota (Scion). The Fit handles much better is sportier. That would be the deciding factor for me. Toyota makes a good car, but they do not have the sporty demeanor of a HOnda. Good Luck.

i test drove both on the interstate at hwy speeds. found the fit to be hinky on the hwy i was constantly adjusting the steering. the scion xd held the road like a dream. i test drove the fit first and if i had not went on the hwy would of bought it without test driving the scion. but now a am very happy i bought the scion instead feels roomier inside then the fit also.
