Hi,
My friend recently bought a xD and he took the OEM wheel/rim off and asked me if I am interested. I have a 2004 xA and it has 15 wheels while his xD has 16 wheels. Would the xD wheel fit my xA?

Your going have to do a 5 lug nut conversion on your xA to fit new xD rims (which are 5 lug).
Sorry, no dice. The Xd has a 5X100 bolt pattern (5 bolts, 100mm spacing) Your Xa has a 4X100 pattern. The only way to do this would be with some sort of a custom drilled spacer, maybe. The other thing to consider is the offset, which given they are both modern FWD vehicles, should not be an issue. 16 inches will fit anything these days, so that won't be an issue. Instead of swapping stockers for stockers, go for a clean, simple aftermarket wheel. Here are some places to consider. Also remember that you can get wheels painted if you don't like the colors they come in.

Go search around google for aftermarket wheels, or buy a tuner mag like super-street to get access to the ads for wheel companies. And remember that not all rims are ricey and crappy looking, you just have to look a little harder.
Best of luck in your quest.
