Hello. I'm looking to buy my first car in a few weeks, and I found a 2004 Scion xA for sale for $6700. It is an automatic, but it has 85,000 miles on it. Personally, I don't think it's that big a problem considering Scions are made by Toyota and they have super good reliability. However, I don't think my dad will let me buy it because the mileage is a little too high.

How can I convince him to let me buy a Scion xA with 85,000 miles?

This is a good resource for reliability ratings. The link below is specific to the 2004 xA
