I will be purchasing my first car that will be used and affordable. I can't decide between the Yaris Hatchback, Scion Xa or Honda Fit because they all have great gas mileage on them (from researching on the EPA and consumer report). I'm planning to drive from LA to SF at least 5 times a year so I will be adding some mileage to the car, driving long distances. Which car requires less maintenance? Which car would you purchase and why? And have you driven any of these cars? Any advice for a first time car buyer? Thanks!
