...one year a bad idea? Scion XD? I have three cars that I'm considering to purchase: a used 2008 Scion XD with 12,000 miles, a used 2009 Honda Fit Sport with 4,000 miles, and a used 2009 Honda Fit Sport with Navigation with 29,000 miles. They are all certified pre-owned. The Scion's the cheapest, the regular Fit Sport and Fit with Navigation are both around the same price (about $1,000 more than the Scion).
I like the Fit with Navigation the most, but am wondering if it's a bad idea to get a car that has had so many miles put on it in just one year. Is it a bad idea to get the Fit with Navigation?
It's not just the navigation itself that I like on the Fit w/nav, it has a couple extra safety features and more controls on the steering wheel -- I'm pretty small and my arms don't easily reach all the radio/temp buttons :-)
Does this effect the answers?
My step-father, who's helping me afford whatever car I choose, seems very against the car on the basis that it has 29,000 miles on it, which is why I'm concerned. Is his concern valid?
Thanks again!
