My Scion is now running on synthetic oil. Is it safe to switch back to regular. What are the consequences?

Switching back is no problem.

There are a whole lot of things that everybody just knows that aren't true. One of those things is that switching from brand X to brand Y motor oil is going to cause trouble. Hooey.
